Questions about the academic module set
Is "academic management software" different from a full school/college ERP?
It's the academic-operations slice of the same platform — admissions, attendance, timetable, examinations, LMS, and library — rather than the whole-institution system (which also covers fee, finance, HR, hostel, and transport). If you need the full picture, see /school-management-software.
Do we have to buy the whole platform to get just the academic modules?
The academic modules run on the same platform and database as everything else — there isn't a stripped-down "academic-only" SKU today. In practice most institutions turn on the full module set from day one since fee and communication are tightly linked to admissions and attendance anyway.
Does the academic calendar / timetable handle substitute teachers and room clashes automatically?
Yes — the timetable engine detects teacher and room clashes at generation time and supports one-off substitute assignments without touching the base timetable.
Can the examination module generate result sheets in our board's own format?
Yes — report-card and result-sheet templates are configurable per board / university, not hardcoded to one layout. More on examination →
Is the LMS part of academic management, or a separate product?
It's one of the academic modules — courses, live classes, assignments, quizzes, and an AI tutor run on the same platform and share the same student/class data as attendance and examinations, not a bolted-on separate tool. More on LMS →
